Who we are

NextFriday Ltd is the data controller.

What we collect

Your name, email address, UK mobile number, your role (farm owner, farm manager, vet, or land agent), and your answer to “your biggest unsolved challenge” — when you apply for a Founding Seat.

How we use it

To review your application, follow up with you about the founding member Tech Council, and send you a confirmation email.

Legal basis

Your explicit consent (UK GDPR Art 6(1)(a)) — given via the checkbox at the point you submit the form. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting anything we did beforehand (Art 7(3)) — just email us.

Sharing

We never sell your data, and we never share it with a third party for that third party’s own purposes. We use a small number of trusted suppliers who process data only on our instructions, as our processors under a written agreement (UK GDPR Art 28) — our email-sending provider (Google Workspace), which may process data outside the UK under UK adequacy regulations or equivalent safeguards (UK GDPR Chapter V, Arts 44–49).

How long we keep it

Founding-member applications: kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time — email andy@nextfriday.co.uk. This is currently handled manually, not as a self-service request — we’re telling you that plainly rather than promising something that doesn’t exist yet.

Your rights in full

You have the right to: be informed (Art 13); access a copy of your data (Art 15); have it corrected (Art 16); have it erased (Art 17); restrict how we use it (Art 18); portability (Art 20); object to processing (Art 21); and not be subject to solely automated decisions (Art 22). We don’t do any automated decision-making or profiling.

Complaints — two routes

You can complain to us directly and we’ll handle it properly: email andy@nextfriday.co.uk. We’ll acknowledge within 30 days and respond without undue delay.

You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office — ico.org.uk, helpline 0303 123 1113 (UK GDPR Art 77; DPA 2018 s.165).
